As you know 1st July marks the beginning of the financial year. And in May the Australian Government released the 2015 budget which included some great tax reductions for small businesses.

While most small business owners are running around snapping up purchases before EOFY, not many know that this arrangement is agreed until the end of June 2017.

Budget.gov.au states:
β€œAll small businesses will get an immediate tax deduction for any individual assets they buy costing less than $20,000. This $20,000 limit applies to each individual item. Small businesses can apply this $20,000 rule to as many individual items as they wish. These arrangements start from Budget night and continue until the end of June 2017.”

So now is as great a time as any to have a look at your current website or if you don’t have one, to build one.

Many of our new clients have learnt the hard way that neglecting their mobile site leads to loss of competitive advantage. So while the Mobilegeddon update was not as catastrophic as the media originally reported, it’s still a major sign that you should be keeping up with the times and creating a mobile friendly site.
