Webmail Access

You can login to the web browser (email) interface anywhere in the world by going .

  • Goto http://gmail.com in your browser
  • Use the email addresses as the username and the passwords provided to you.

If Gmail asks for a personal or organisational level account, always choose the organisation level (work) account to log in to.

  • Please remember to always pick Google Workspace (not personal) when login on the web.

 

Smartphones or Tablet Access

To set these email accounts up on mobile devices:

  • Please download the Gmail App from the app store for each device
  • Use the same login information as provided by us to log in to the accounts.

 

PC or Mac using e-mail program

When using an application like Outlook / Mac Mail or Thunderbird, 99% of the time, if you pick the Google / Gmail option when setting up the account, all it needs is a username (email address) and a password and it does the rest of the AUTOMATIC set up for you.

To set these accounts up on a PC please follow the following instructions if you need to do a manual setup instead.

Setup type – Manual – IMAP or Google (If there is a Google option)

  • Mail Server (Incoming) imap.gmail.com
  • Mail Server (Outgoing) smtp.gmail.com
  • Username – (your whole email address)
  • Password – (Passwords as listed above)

The following settings must also be added, or you won’t be able to send email…

  • More Settings -> Outgoing server – Enable Outbound (SMTP) Authentication – Tick the enable outbound SMTP authentication option.
  • More Settings -> Advanced Settings – port settings :
  • Port Setting Inbound – Select β€œSSL” Port 993 (auto)
  • Port Setting Outbound – Select β€œSSL” Port Β 465 or 587
